Run it your way

What's your 5K?

Everyone shows up for a different reason. All of them count.

  • Chase a PB

Test your fitness on a fast, flat course. Timed every week.

  • First 5K

Start somewhere. We'll be cheering the whole way.

  • Walk It

No minimum pace. Take your time — a tail walker is always last.

  • Bring Friends

Make Saturday morning social. Then go get breakfast.

  • Bring the Family

Get outside and move together. Strollers welcome where the trail allows.

  • Volunteer

You don't have to run to belong. Help make it happen.

Community

Come for the 5K.
Stay for the people.

Fast or slow doesn't matter here. Showing up does. The runner chasing a PR and the neighbor walking their first 5K cross the same finish line and cheer for the same people.

Friends running togetherRoommates, coworkers, lab partners. Saturday is the standing plan.
A parent and a kidOne pushes, one sprints ahead, both finish.
Walkers talkingSome of the best conversations in Provo happen at 20 minutes per mile.
Fast finish, then cheeringSub-17 or sub-60, everyone turns around to clap the next person in.
Volunteers laughing at the finishScanning barcodes and handing out high fives, roughly equally.
Hanging around afterThe 5K takes 20 to 60 minutes. The standing around takes as long as you want.

    Register at parkrun.us →
  2. Bring your barcode

Printed or on your phone. Scan it at the finish so your time gets recorded.

  3. Show up Saturday

Run, walk, volunteer, meet people — and come back whenever you want.

Your parkrun registration works at parkrun events around the world.

Families

Saturday mornings are better together.

Families and young runners are welcome. parkrun is built to be a positive, supportive place for people of every age and ability — where a seven-year-old's first finish gets the same cheer as a sub-17.

Young participants should follow current parkrun policies on participation and supervision; the details are on the parkrun US site when you register.

Volunteer

You don't have to run to be part of parkrun.

parkrun is powered entirely by community volunteers wearing very bright vests. No experience required — simple instructions provided. Many roles let you still run or walk the course too.
